WELEDA EDELWEISS SUN PROTECTION

Weleda’s suncare range is free from synthetic UV filters, synthetic additives including fragrance, artificial colour or preservatives, and are made without materials derived from mineral oils. Using traditional mineral based protection, the active ingredients titanium dioxide and zinc oxide reflect both UVA and UVB rays. The minerals are micronized into ultra-fine particles, making them easy to spread evenly, generating a pleasant silky lustre, and almost totally avoiding the whitening effect evident with some other products. They provide broad spectrum sun protection and also help protect from the visible signs of premature skin aging and damage. They contain edelweiss extract (which is specially cultivated in Switzerland) and carrot oil, which help to bind damaging free radicals produced by the sun’s rays. Edelweiss Sun Cream SPF 20 50ml

A water resistant cream, this is ideal for the first few days in hot sun – when the skin benefits from extra protection – as well as for regularly exposed places, such as the shoulders and nose. It is also suitable for sun sensitive skin. The sun cream’s extra richness comes from the addition of shea butter, renowned for its soothing and moisturising properties.

Edelweiss Sun Lotion SPF 15 200ml

This light, water resistant lotion contains sesame oil – a particularly light bodycare oil that also has UV filtering properties. It is easily applied, even to men’s hairy skin!
The cream and lotion have a soft summery scent, which comes from natural essential oils. They are both suitable for children and adults alike.
